Love Life

Taeko (Fumino Kimura) shares a quiet apartment with her husband Jirō (Kento Nagayama) and her young son, Keita, until an accident takes the boy from the house. His long-lost father, Park (Atom Sunada), who is deaf and homeless, turns up again, and Taeko takes on looking after him to carry her guilt. Koji Fukada, borrowing the title from a 1991 Akiko Yano song, makes a film about how love and life go on together after a loss.
