Loving You

“One detective's private investigation will leave fingerprints on your heartstrings.”

Inspector Lau Chun-Hoi (Lau Ching-wan), a seedy cop, is shot and survives, and the second chance forces him to look hard at the life he was living. Johnnie To follows him as he deals with Carman (Carman Lee Yeuk-tung) and the people who knew the old Lau. The film is plain about it: a man gets the chance to change, and what he finds is the cost of every year he spent not bothering.
