“You're being watched”

Rahul (Anshuman Jha) is a film student shooting his graduation project on a handheld camcorder, and Shruti (Nushrratt Bharuccha) is the girl he casts in it. Dibakar Banerjee builds three linked stories around an honour killing, an MMS scandal and a sting operation, each seen through a camera. Adarsh (Rajkummar Rao) watches from behind the security monitor, the grainy frame holding still while the people in it forget it is there.
