Luca

(2021)Directed by Enrico Casarosa95 min · PGAnimation, Family, Fantasy, Drama, Comedy
“Prepare for an unforgettable trip.”

Two sea monsters are living in plain sight in the fishing village of Portorosso, and the people there have no idea: the boy Luca Paguro (Jacob Tremblay) and his friend Alberto Scorfano (Jack Dylan Grazer) turn human the moment they leave the water. Enrico Casarosa sets their summer on the Italian Riviera, where Giulia Marcovaldo (Emma Berman) lets them into town. Luca stands dry on the harbor stones, a boy for now, watching the sea he came from.
