Lucky

A sudden fall shakes Lucky (Harry Dean Stanton), a 90-year-old atheist, loose from the routine he keeps in his off-the-map desert town. John Carroll Lynch, directing for the first time, follows him through the days with the locals, among them Howard (David Lynch) and Fred (Tom Skerritt). Lucky has never needed faith to get by, and now he has to face his own mortality with nothing to lean on but himself.
