Guddu (Kartik Aaryan), a television reporter in Mathura, moves in with Rashmi (Kriti Sanon), his headstrong intern, and the two of them keep it quiet. Laxman Utekar gives the story loud neighbours, Pankaj Tripathi as Babulal, and a town where everyone has opinions about other people's business. When their traditional families take them for a married couple, the pretence has to hold, and Rashmi's father, Vishnu (Vinay Pathak), is watching.
