Lumumba

A grave is being dug before the film has said whose it is, and the man at the center of it, Patrice Lumumba (Ériq Ebouaney), was once a mail clerk and beer salesman with a gift for speeches. Raoul Peck follows him from that obscurity to the first prime minister of an independent Congo, with Joseph Mobutu (Alex Descas) close at his side. Belgium, the United States and men inside his own government all want the country's wealth, and he is the only thing in their way.
