Lupin the Third: Blood Seal of the Eternal Mermaid

“An ancient seal of blood guards an immortal secret...”

A gemstone called the Mermaid's Scale turns up at a secret underground auction, and the queen of the underworld wants Arsène Lupin III (Kanichi Kurita) to steal it for her. He takes the job, then finds the stone is a forgery and the real Scale is tied to an old riddle about escaping death. Teiichi Takiguchi directs this television special, and Lupin keeps grinning while the trail leads him somewhere that costs him.
