“Inspector Zenigata has been shot by a Walther P38! The prime suspect? Lupin the Third.”

Lupin (Kanichi Kurita) wants his name cleared after he is framed for the murder of Inspector Zenigata (Gorō Naya), shot with a silver Walther P38 that once belonged to him. The trail takes him and his gang to an island of spider-tattooed Tarantula assassins in the Devil's Triangle, where a vault of gold is waiting. Hiroyuki Yano keeps the pace quick and the animation bright, closer to a long television episode than a quiet crime story.
