Lupin the Third: The Hemingway Papers

“A riddle of death... or a tale of treasure?”

Somewhere in the middle of a civil war, a faction leader is sitting on pages written by Ernest Hemingway, and those pages say where a treasure is buried. Lupin (Yasuo Yamada) wants it, but Goemon (Makio Inoue) and Jigen (Kiyoshi Kobayashi) have ended up fighting on opposite sides, so he goes after it alone. Osamu Dezaki directs the chase at a run, keeping the gunfire and the jokes on the screen together.
