“A vampire's lust knows no boundaries...”

In 1830, the Karnstein heirs spill the blood of an innocent and raise Mircalla (Yutte Stensgaard), who was known as Carmilla back in 1710. She enrolls at a nearby finishing school, where the young women are easy prey and the headmaster, Giles Barton (Ralph Bates), is desperate to become her disciple. Jimmy Sangster's film also gives us Richard Lestrange (Michael Johnson), an author so smitten he refuses to see what she is.
