“Get home safe.”
In a quiet Ohio town, Sue Ann (Octavia Spencer) keeps to herself, until Maggie (Diana Silvers), new in town, asks her to buy booze for a group of teenagers. Tate Taylor sets the offer on Sue Ann's doorstep: a basement for the kids to party in, as long as they follow her rules. She has been lonely a long time, and she holds on to every one of her new friends.
