“The urge to fall in love will destroy the world.”

After a factory explosion, a small town freezes in place, and no one is allowed to leave or change. Masamune (Junya Enoki) and his friends are teenagers stuck inside it while the world around them starts to come apart. Mari Okada's film, produced by MAPPA, follows Masamune and Atsumi (Reina Ueda), who both feel a pull toward each other that the frozen town cannot hold still.
