Machete

“They just messed with the wrong Mexican.”

A man hired to kill a Texas senator learns the job was a setup, and the one who arranged it wants him dead. That man is Machete (Danny Trejo), an ex-Federale who now has nothing to lose and a long list of people to find, among them Senator John McLaughlin (Robert De Niro). Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis build it out of a fake Grindhouse trailer and keep the B-movie grime.
