Madea Goes to Jail

“Something big is coming to the big house.”

Madea (Tyler Perry) has a temper that doesn't wait for permission, and after a high-speed car chase it lands her in jail. Assistant District Attorney Josh Hardaway (Derek Luke) is handed the case of Candace (Keshia Knight Pulliam), a young prostitute and former drug addict he grew up beside. Tyler Perry puts the two women in the same cell block, and the film turns on whether a person can be told they're worth more than the worst thing they've done.
