Madeline (Hatty Jones) is the smallest and boldest girl at her French boarding school, and all she wants is to stay there with Miss Clavel (Frances McDormand) and the other girls. When Lord Covington (Nigel Hawthorne) plans to sell the school, she sets out to stop him with wit and a talent for scheming.
