“One murder is a crime. Two is a mystery.”

Two women are found dead in a quiet Arizona desert town, and the only thing connecting them is a name: both are called Maggie Moore. Chief Jordan Sanders (Jon Hamm) starts pulling at the town's small lies, helped by Deputy KB Reddy (Nick Mohammed). John Slattery directs Sanders as a man who has to solve a pair of killings while falling for Rita (Tina Fey), the neighbor of one of the dead women.
