Magic in the Moonlight

A young medium named Sophie Baker (Emma Stone) has the wealthy Catledge family on the French Riviera convinced she speaks to the dead. Stanley Crawford (Colin Firth), a master magician who has spent his career exposing frauds, is brought in by a friend to prove she is one. Woody Allen sets the case in the 1920s, and Stanley arrives sure of his own mind, certain nothing here could ever surprise him.
