Magic in the Water

“In a small town, on a peaceful lake, a mythical creature is about to surface.”

Jack Black (Mark Harmon) hosts a radio show where he tells strangers how to fix their families, and he can't stop working long enough to talk to his own. He brings his kids, Joshua (Joshua Jackson) and Ashley (Sarah Wayne), to a lake in British Columbia, where the local monster, Orky, may be more than a tourist gimmick. Rick Stevenson sets a distracted father against a lake the children trust, and the film is about what it takes to make a parent finally look up.
