Magical Nights

Rome, 1990, the night Italy loses the World Cup to Argentina on penalties, and a well-known film producer is found dead in the Tiber. Three young aspiring screenwriters, Antonino (Mauro Lamantia) among them, are taken to the police and start telling their version. Paolo Virzì lets the story come out in their own words, and what holds the three of them together is the work they have not yet written.
