Magicians

Karl Allen (Robert Webb) and Harry Kane (David Mitchell) used to perform together as stage magicians, until a guillotine trick went wrong and the partnership ended. Now they are entering the same magic competition, standing on the same stage again with the argument still unsettled. Andrew O'Connor, working from a script by Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain, follows Karl and Harry as each tries to prove he never needed the other.
