Maharaja

In Chennai, a barber named Maharaja (Vijay Sethupathi) walks into a police station to report a burglary at his home. What he says was taken is "Lakshmi," and Inspector Varadharajan (Natarajan Subramaniam) and his officers can't tell whether that means a person or an object. They laugh at the request, and then they begin to find out what he wants back. Nithilan Saminathan keeps the story moving as an investigation that winds tighter with each answer.
