Maine-Ocean Express
The Maine-Ocean is a train that runs from Paris to Saint-Nazaire, on the coast, and Dejanira (Rosa-Maria Gomes), a Brazilian traveler, has trouble with the two ticket inspectors on board. Another passenger, the lawyer Maître Mimi de Saint-Marc (Lydia Feld), steps in to help her. Jacques Rozier follows the four of them off the train and into a string of side trips involving Mimi's client, a sailor who talks in a strange way, with Dejanira in the middle of it all.
