Mertkan (Bartu Küçükçağlayan) is a middle class young man who cannot say why he keeps pulling away from a home his father, Kemal (Settar Tanrıöğen), runs by force. Seren Yüce's debut follows him toward Gül (Esme Madra), a woman from an ethnic minority, and a rough kind of romance his family would not approve. The film leaves Mertkan caught between the two, a young man in a house that still belongs to his father.
