Ten animated shorts share one reel, each built around a different song, and no story carries over from one to the next. Clyde Geronimi and Robert Cormack, directing for Disney in 1946, gather Jerry Colonna (narrator) reciting "Casey at the Bat" and Nelson Eddy voicing a whale who dreams of singing at the Met. Dinah Shore and Benny Goodman appear as themselves, and the whole program asks to be heard first.
