Making Contact

“Only he can see it. Only he shares its magic. Only he knows the danger.”

Joey (Joshua Morrell) is nine years old when his father dies, and soon afterward things around him start to move on their own. He sets objects in motion with his mind, starts fires, and hears his dead father speak. Roland Emmerich follows him into an abandoned house, where Joey finds an old ventriloquist's dummy that wakes to his power and wants it for itself, with everyone near the boy in its path.
