Making Mr. Right

“A man with a good warranty is hard to find.”

Frankie Stone (Ann Magnuson) is an image consultant whose clients are politicians and anyone else who needs polishing, and a tech company hires her for her oddest job yet. She is to teach a robot called Ulysses (John Malkovich) how to act like a man, so he can pass among people. Susan Seidelman makes the human lessons the whole romance, since the one who learns about feeling is Frankie.
