Malcolm

“A comedy of hopes and schemes.”

Malcolm Hughes (Colin Friels) is a painfully shy mechanic who only wants to be left alone with his machines, until the tram company fires him for building a tram of his own. Strapped for rent, he takes in a lodger, Frank Baker (John Hargreaves), fresh out of jail, and Frank sees a use for a man who can build anything. Nadia Tass sets the plans on the table in Malcolm's cluttered house, where every gadget they build brings them one step closer to a bank.
