Maldoror

“When justice falters, obsession becomes the only weapon.”

Paul Chartier (Anthony Bajon) is a young police recruit with more nerve than patience, and he is handed a place in "Maldoror," a secret unit set up to watch a dangerous sex offender. Fabrice Du Welz draws on the real Belgian scandal around Marc Dutroux. When two girls disappear and the unit's operation falls apart, he stops trusting the law to act and goes after the culprits by himself.
