Maleficent

“Don't believe the fairy tale.”

Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) is a dark fairy with wings like a bat's, powerful and solitary in a magical forest realm. When a human king threatens her world, she curses his newborn daughter, Princess Aurora (Elle Fanning), to fall into an endless sleep on her sixteenth birthday. Now Maleficent must reckon with what her own rage has set in motion, and whether the child she condemned has any way out.
