Mall Girls

In a Polish shopping mall, the best jewelry, clothes and shoes sit behind glass, priced well beyond what teenage girls can pay. Alicja (Anna Karczmarczyk) and her friends find a way around that by seeking out sponsors who will buy the things for them. Kasia Rosłaniec films the mall as an ordinary place where the girls spend their afternoons, and she keeps the camera close enough that you watch their faces more than the shop windows.
