Malmkrog

Nikolai (Frédéric Schulz-Richard), a landowner, wants his Christmas guests to stay and talk, so he sets the table for a politician, a young countess, and a general with his wife. Over the meals the talk turns to progress and morality, and Madeleine (Agathe Bosch) and Edouard (Ugo Broussot) argue harder as the cultural differences between them show. Cristi Puiu films it in long, still takes, holding each room and each speaker until the conversation runs out.
