Jessica Loren (Jessica Sula) is a rookie police officer who asks for the last shift at a station that has just been decommissioned. She wants to learn how her father died and what a vicious cult had to do with it. Anthony DiBlasi, remaking his own 2014 film Last Shift, keeps her in one building through the night, and the grief that sent her there is the thing she cannot put down.
