Mama Weed

Patience Portefeux (Isabelle Huppert) spends her days translating wiretapped Arabic phone calls for the Paris police, and one day she realizes she knows exactly what a drug network is saying before the officers do. Jean-Paul Salomé follows her as she crosses to the other side of those recordings. Her work, her aging mother (Liliane Rovère) and the daughter (Iris Bry) she is raising on her own are all tangled up in what she decides.
