Mamonas Assassinas: The Movie

Brazil in the 1990s, and a group of friends is playing comedy rock in whatever rooms will have them. Edson Spinello follows Dinho (Ruy Brissac) and the Reoli brothers, Sérgio (Rhener Freitas) and Samuel (Adriano Tunes), from those first small stages toward the breakthrough that made Mamonas Assassinas known across the country. The band is young and loud and has barely any time, and every show raises what they stand to lose.
