Man Bites Dog

“A killer comedy.”

In Belgium in the early 1990s, a small film crew follows Ben (Benoît Poelvoorde), a serial killer who talks to their camera the way other men talk about their jobs. Between killings he gives his views on music and low-income housing, and he introduces the crew to his mother. Rémy Belvaux and André Bonzel put the crew behind the lens, and the film shows how easily the people recording him slide into taking part.
