Man of a Thousand Faces

Before he is a screen horror star, Lon Chaney (James Cagney) is a vaudeville actor with a talent no one else can quite explain, one that turns his own face into a different man's. Joseph Pevney follows him from the stage into silent pictures, with his wife Cleva (Dorothy Malone) beside him. The fame is coming, but so is a run of personal misfortune that his success will not be enough to cover.
