Man of the Year

“Elections are made to be broken.”

In 2006, Tom Dobbs (Robin Williams) hosts a late-night political satire show, and he decides to run for president as a joke on the whole system. Barry Levinson follows the stunt as it grows into a real campaign, with frustrated voters answering Dobbs's jabs at Washington and cheering him on. Jack Menken (Christopher Walken) and Eleanor Green (Laura Linney) stand close to the candidate, and the country's top job is now within reach of a man who never wanted it.
