Man on Fire

“For an ex-CIA agent, the job of bodyguard for a 12-year old girl should have been a breeze…”

Creasy (Scott Glenn) is an ex-CIA agent worn down by what he has done, and he takes a bodyguard job because he needs somewhere to put himself. The work is Samantha (Jade Malle), the twelve-year-old daughter of a wealthy Italian family in a villa on Lake Como. Élie Chouraqui builds the film around a man who has long closed himself off and a child who is slowly, stubbornly opening him up.
