Man on the Moon

“Hello, my name is Andy and this is my movie.”

Andy Kaufman (Jim Carrey) walks onto stage as a nervous foreign immigrant, and the audience waits for the joke that never arrives. His manager George Shapiro (Danny DeVito) keeps booking him anyway, even as Andy takes on a second act, the lounge singer Tony Clifton. Miloš Forman follows him from small clubs toward television, and the last thing in view is Carrey in Kaufman's thin mustache, deadpan, waiting for the room to react.
