(2002)Directed by Patrice Leconte90 minCrime, Drama, Thriller
“A poet. A thief. Two strangers with nothing in common are about to trade their lives for a chance to cheat their destinies.”

Monsieur Manesquier (Jean Rochefort) is a retired poetry teacher living alone in a big house in a small French village, glad of anyone who will listen. Milan (Johnny Hallyday) steps off a train there with a bank to rob and a few days to wait, and Manesquier invites him to stay. Patrice Leconte lets the two men talk, and each begins to want the other's life.
