Man Push Cart

Before dawn in Manhattan, Ahmad (Ahmad Razvi) hauls his coffee and donut cart through the empty streets, then sells to commuters until the day runs out. He was once a rock star in Pakistan, and director Ramin Bahrani follows him through each repeated morning, with Noemi (Leticia Dolera) and Mohammad (Charles Daniel Sandoval) among the people who cross his path. The film is about how much work it takes to stay in a city that never learns your name.
