Man with the Gun

“A man who lived and breathed violence!”

Clint Tollinger (Robert Mitchum) rides into a frightened town hunting for his estranged wife, Nelly Bain (Jan Sterling), and finds her running the local girls. He also finds a marshal (Henry Hull) who flinches at his own shadow and a landowner no one has seen, who rules through his rowdy hired men. Richard Wilson has Clint take a $500 commission to clean up the place, a town tamer doing the one job he knows how to do.
