A village barber nicknamed Smile (Yogi Babu) cuts hair for people who rarely look at him, in a place where caste decides who counts. When a local body election is called, his single vote becomes the one that matters, and the men who run the village start arriving at his shop. Madonne Ashwin sets this in Smile's own small shop, where the chair, the mirror and the line of waiting customers show who now has to ask him for his vote.
