Manglehorn

“You get one shot at life. Try not to miss.”

A.J. Manglehorn (Al Pacino) keeps a small-town routine that seems to hide a larger story: he nurses his sick cat, eats at the same place every day, and waits all week for Friday, when he talks with Dawn (Holly Hunter), the teller at his bank. David Gordon Green follows him through these ordinary days while the reasons for his loneliness come into view. Manglehorn stands at the counter, the cat at home, the same meal waiting.
