Mango Yellow

“The human being is all stomach and sex.”

Dunga (Matheus Nachtergaele) runs a bar in a working-class corner of Recife, where the people he serves drink, argue and pick at each other's lives. Isaac (Jonas Bloch), Kika (Dira Paes) and Wellington Cannibal (Chico Diaz) all pass through his orbit, along with a lonely waitress, Ligia (Leona Cavalli). Cláudio Assis builds the story around two of them, a butcher and his wife, whose marriage is the raw center the others circle.
