“Woody Allen's New Comedy Hit”

In 1979 Manhattan, Isaac Davis (Woody Allen), a twice-divorced television writer of 42, is dating Tracy (Mariel Hemingway), who is 17 and still in high school. Then he meets Mary Wilkie (Diane Keaton), the mistress of his best friend Yale (Michael Murphy), and falls for her anyway. Allen sets these four people's lives against one city and keeps asking whether any of them can say what they want and stay with it.
