Manhattan Night

“No reporter can resist a siren.”

Porter Wren (Adrien Brody) writes for a Manhattan tabloid, selling murder and scandal by the column inch, then goes home to a wife and daughter. A stranger named Caroline Crowley (Yvonne Strahovski) asks him to look into the unsolved killing of her husband, the filmmaker Simon, and he agrees. Brian DeCubellis builds the film on how little it takes to pull a careful man away from what he has.
