Maniac Cop

“You have the right to remain silent…forever.”

People are turning up dead on the streets of New York, killed by someone in a police uniform. Lieutenant Frank McCrae (Tom Atkins) works the case while the city starts to fear the very men sworn to protect it, and Jack Forrest (Bruce Campbell), a cop under suspicion, is caught in the middle. William Lustig keeps the film tied to the bond between McCrae and Theresa Mallory (Laurene Landon), two officers holding to each other as the department turns on its own.
