Marche à l'ombre

(1984)Directed by Michel Blanc90 minComedy

Nobody explains why Denis (Michel Blanc) and François (Gérard Lanvin) have no money, only that they keep walking, through Greece, then France, until they reach Paris with empty pockets. Michel Blanc, who also wrote it, lets them sleep in the metro at night and squat in houses with African immigrants. Then both fall for Mathilde (Sophie Duez), a blond dancer, and the friendship has to make room for her.
